Tariq Mitri was born in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E and raised in Portland, OR. He graduated from California Institute of the Arts in 2015, and has freelanced in Los Angeles, Seattle, and New York City with choreographers WHYTEBERG, Kate Wallich + The YC, MADBOOTS Dance, and Caitlin Adams Studio (formerly known as HEIDCO) among others. From 2020 to 2022, he was the Co-Director and Rehearsal Director for HEIDCO. Most recently, he relocated back to Seattle and performed works by Emily Schoen Branch, and Andrew McShea. Tariq is in the pursuit of collaboration, connectivity, and creation. @tmitri
